One of the joys of being older is learning that there is something where we thought there was nothing.
An other is learning to dance WITH a partner instead of moving to our own rhythm, alone in a crowd. Dancing through the rhythm of a summer day, moving slow through the symphony of plenty, letting nature lead, feeling the freedom of being guided, trusting, swaying, being held, learning there is a beat, a melody, and a song.

i liked this one a lot too!!!

it has been oddly quiet around here today although now that it hit 7:00 p.m., someone in the neighborhood thinks it's time for firecrackers even though they are illegal within the city limits.

i was really enjoying listening to the breeze and the birds...
